Devonport Library is part of the State Library of Tasmania network.

Devonport (population 24,417) is the centre for a rich farming hinterland and the gateway for tourists arriving on the Bass Strait Ferry, "Spirit of Tasmania". It is a beautiful city with fine beaches and superb mountain country within easy reach. The Library aims to cover the recreational and information interests of clients directly from its own printed, multimedia, audio, and online resources, and from the wider resources of the State Library. We specialise in a friendly, helpful service, and visitors are made very welcome.
