Inaugural Peter McInnes Award for Library Services for Children and Young People (The award recognises innovation and excellence of public libraries and local government services)
Awarded to the Launceston Library and Friends of the Library, Launceston for developing a number of high quality programs for children and young people over the last eight years. Some of these programs, such as the Summer Holiday Program and Rock & Rhyme, have been adopted by libraries across the State.
