Community Language Collection
We hold a small collection of books, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and language learning resources in the following community languages: Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Migrant Resource Centres
There are two centres: one based in Hobart and one in Launceston. They provide a range of settlement services for migrants/refugees from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Community Resources
Multicultural Tasmania is a division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, providing policy advice to Government on issues relating to the migrant community.
Multicultural Health is about ensuring that people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds are treated fairly and experience no barriers to receiving services that affect their health and wellbeing.
Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia is a voluntary non-party political community organisation and is the national peak body that promotes multiculturalism, community harmony and social justice.
