The State Reference Library holds a large collection of current maps for Tasmania, Australia and many places around the world. It holds the largest collection of publicly accessible maps in the State.
Many detailed maps in series are held including topographic, land use, geological maps and hydrographic charts.
Atlases, street directories, city maps and gazetteers are held for most major locations in Australia and overseas.
The State Reference Library also has a collection of aerial photographs of Tasmanian urban areas, National Parks, Hydro Electric Commission villages and Tasmanian lighthouses.
