Artist Statement: I have responded to the animal characters in Alice in Wonderland, especially the March Hare, the Cheshire Cate and the Dormouse. I have based the Alice in my drawings on my daughter Luci and the Mad Hatter is my son Jasper. |
| Biography: Education and Fine Art degrees, University of Tasmania – MFA, RMIT, Melbourne. Residencies in Barcelona, Havana, San Francisco, Mexico and Tokyo. Since 1986 - 30 solo exhibitions in Australia, and more recently in Spain - represented in numerous national/international collections, public and private. Currently teaches Printmaking and Drawing, School of Art, University of Tasmania. |
