Catherine Mabel Adams (1872-1924)

A member of the well-known Dobson family, she was acquainted with the Allports, presumably through the legal firm of Dobson, Mitchell and Allport. Despite her undoubted talent, she has no public profile – the fate of many 19th century women artists.
