Submit a filtered website for reclassification
Web filtering technologies prevent access from a computer to particular types of internet content. The Department actively uses filtering technologies to prevent the downloading of software that is malicious and disruptive or that can damage the network or degrade performance significantly. Web filtering technologies may also be used to restrict access to material which is considered inappropriate based on its subject matter, for example, depictions of violence and pornography. The Department of Education’s web filtering policy contains further information:

It is possible that a website can be wrongly classified. If you would like to check how a website or URL has been classified by the filtering software, please connect to:
http://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/checking and enter the website or URL.
The site will return results on the entered sites web reputation and how it has been categorised. While a site may have up to 3 categories, a ‘block’ on one of those categories will deny access to the site.
