Client Suggestion for Purchase

The State Library of Tasmania welcomes purchase suggestions for our statewide lending collections. We receive many suggestions and it is not possible to respond to individual requests.

Please be aware that a suggestion for purchase does not guarantee that the item will be purchased. Some suggestions are not purchased because they are out of print, the format is unsuitable for the lending collection, the subject is already well represented in the collection; or due to budgetary limitations.

If you would like more information about the type of material that is purchased for the lending collection, please read the Lending Collection Policy.

Please allow approximately 10 working days for your suggestion to be processed and a record (with a hold placed on your behalf) to be added to the TALISPlus catalogue.
