Redevelopment Closure
ROSNY LIBRARY
Rosny Library is being transformed to created Rosny LINC, offering an exciting range of new services - a refurbished library, state-of-the-art community learning spaces, more online access, literacy support services and more general purpose meeting rooms.
Because of the extent of the redevelopment it will be necessary to close while essential work is carried out.
Rosny Library will close at 12.30pm Saturday 28 November 2009 and reopens as Rosny LINC at 9.30am on Monday 21 December 2009.
- No library services or activities will be available at the Rosny building in this period.
- You can borrow or return at any other State Library branch while we are closed (e.g. Sorell, Hobart, Bridgewater, Glenorchy. Check our website or the telephone directory for a complete listing).
- Rosny clients can stock up on reading materials before the closure and have up to 30 items on their card.
- Loan periods for Rosny clients will be automatically extended to Wednesday 23 December.
- Rosny LINC will stay open until 7pm on 21, 22 and 23 December.
Holds/Reservations: existing holds must be collected from Rosny by 6pm Thursday 26 November. New holds scheduled for collection at Rosny during the closure will be stockpiled and will show as 'in transit' in TALIS+ until the building reopens.
We apologise for the inconvenience but we look forward to seeing you in our new look LINC!
Rosny LINC is part of the Community Knowledge Network: Linking together Adult Education, the State Library of Tasmania, Online Access Centres and the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office (TAHO).
