Word processingThe libraries in Devonport, Burnie and Rosny, the State Reference Library in Hobart and the Glenorchy Library + Online Access Centre all have computers with word processing capability for use by the public. Spreadsheet programThe libraries in Huonville, Burnie and Rosny, the State Reference Library in Hobart and the Glenorchy Library + Online Access Centre have computers with a spreadsheeting program for use by the public. Database programHuonville and Rosny libraries, the Glenorchy Library + Online Access Centre and the State Reference Library in Hobart all have Access software on their public use computers. Other software, printers and scannersHuonville and Rosny libraries, the Glenorchy Library + Online Access Centre and the State Reference Library in Hobart have Publisher and PowerPoint installed on their computers and scanners with Optical Character Recognition software. You can also print in colour from the computers at these libraries. You can print in black and white from the computers at Devonport and Burnie libraries. BookingsBookings are essential for use of computers in the State Reference Library and can be made at the Foyer Desk in person or by telephoning 6233 7529. We recommend that you check before you visit your local library that machines are available.
