Be Inspired

Be Inspired is designed to help you discover the huge range of things you can borrow from the Library. Each month there’s a new theme to introduce you to authors and topics that you may never before have considered. As well as discovering new authors you can learn new skills, explore new places and broaden your mind.

Previous themes have included Do it Yourself, a guide to the Library’s craft and DIY books, Aussie Flavours, celebrating Australian writers, culture and history, and Flashback, featuring antiques and retro decor. Last month’s focus was Readelicious, mouthwatering reading including fabulous recipes and culinary adventures.

Two new themes just added are: Gardening - from pot plants to pergolas - find out all you need to know to make your garden grow; and Full of Facts - discover if fact if stranger than fiction - then explore the realms of trivia or embark on a quest for the truth!
