Information and research services are provided by and through all libraries in the State Library system. These services are available by visiting, phoning or faxing any State Library service point or by completing the online reference enquiry form.
The State Reference Service, located in Hobart, holds the largest public reference collection in the state. In addition to the State Library's reference collections in print, an increasing amount of material is available online to users at home.
Materials not held in the State Library can be obtained from interstate and overseas libraries for you through the Document Delivery Service.
An information and reference service is provided by experienced professional staff from the State Reference Service. Staff are on hand to help and advise you in using the catalogue, reference collections and facilities. Your enquiry can be in person, by telephone, fax or email.
Business Alert is a monthly publication which provides a list of current articles selected from the State Reference Service journal collection in the areas of Management, Marketing, Finance and Technology and a list of books recently received by the State Reference Service
