Family History Resources

The State Library holds an extensive range of Tasmanian resources, as well as a selection from interstate and overseas, which will be of interest to people researching family history. These resources come in a variety of formats including print, microform, CD-ROM and the Internet.

These resources can be found in the State Reference Library, Tasmaniana and in the city libraries.  Family history resources can also be found in the Archives Office of Tasmania.

The State Reference Service has produced basic information sheets to help with research.
