The State Library holds a small collection of books, DVDs, magazines and language learning resources in the following community languages:
Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
These are available at Burnie, Devonport, Glenorchy, Hobart, Kingston, Launceston, or Rosny Libraries or can be placed on hold for collection at any branch library.

Multicultural Tasmania is a division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, providing policy advice to Government on issues relating to the migrant community.
Multicultural Health
Is about ensuring that people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds are treated fairly and experience no barriers to receiving services that affect their health and wellbeing.
There are two centres: one based in Hobart and one in Launceston. They provide a range of settlement services for migrants/refugees from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
