Storytime sessions for preschoolers and their carers are held every Tuesday 11-12. More information on Storytime sessions
School holiday activities vary each term and include craft activities and special events such as author visits. The library participates in the statewide Summer Holiday Program every January. More information on School holiday activities
Reading Together is a free weekly parent and child program which combines stories, sing songs and borrowing books. The program runs Fridays from 10-11. More information on Reading Together
Rock and Rhyme is an interactive session for young babies aged 0-24 months old with their parents or carers. The program runs 10.30-10.50 on Wednesdays in 2007. More information on Rock and Rhyme
Click Club offers access to fun online activities for preschoolers such as colouring a picture online, playing a game or doing a jigsaw puzzle. Sessions run every Wednesday 11-11.30
The Library has a collection of genealogical material such as Tasmanian Births, Deaths and Marriages, journals and other records in microformats. More information on Family History

There are three meeting rooms available for public use during the day, evening or weekend. Hire rates are very reasonable and bookings are essential.
