The aims of the group are to form a link between the library and the community.
To achieve this members work within the community to raise and enhance the profile of the library and endeavour to provide financial support for specific agreed projects. Members also promote the advantages and benefits of a local library and provide advice to the State Library Service for the improvement of services both locally and, where appropriate, state wide.
MembershipMembership is open to all registered users of the library service who wish to support the aims of the group. There is a $10.00 joining fee and an annual subscription fee of $5.00 for adult members. Life membership can be obtained for a total cost of $25.00. |
