Branch libraries are part of the State Library of Tasmania's statewide public library network, and offer lending and limited reference services to all members of the Tasmanian community and to visitors. Members of the State Library of Tasmania can borrow and return library items in any of the city or branch libraries and can also reserve lending items from any library.

Reading Together
Reading Together is a program for pre-school aged children to hear stories, sing songs and borrow books.
Rock & Rhyme
Rock & Rhyme is an interactive session for young babies aged 0-24 months old with their parents or carers. Come along and enjoy rhymes, rhythm and fun with nursery favourites.
Storytime
Stories and activities for all preschoolers and their carers.
The Friends of the Robert Sticht Memorial Library are proud to support the joint use TAFE/Public Library on Tasmania's wild, wet and wonderful west coast. The group was formed in 1993 to provide support for the library, and has been associated with fundraising and promotional events ever since. Activities have included:
A third partner, the Communities Online Access Centre, has been established in the library, bringing in new people, and new members for both the library and the Friends.
Membership is open to all supporters of the Robert Sticht Memorial Library. We even have members in Tucson, Arizona and Cobar, NSW. The subscription fee is $5 and members receive a monthly newsletter, special invitations to library events and preferential treatment at booksales. Regular meetings of the Friends are held in the library.
